"Nine strangers, one tap class, and a whole lot of heart." This well-known classic, brought to screen in 1991 starring Liza Minelli and Julie Walters, captures the warmth, humour, and personal journeys of a mismatched group of people find connection, confidence, and joy through dance. During the play we see them overcome personal challenges, form unexpected friendships, and discover new strengths that transform their lives both on and off the stage.
